Brian Mietz, born June 21, 1982, is a musician from New Jersey. Some have called Brian the bard of the region, which is a fancy way of saying Brian is like the Bruce Springsteen of New Jersey.
He has recorded numerous albums under various projects and has had the blessing of playing alongside talented friends throughout his life. He has opened for The Lemonheads, Juliana Hatfield, Cloud Nothings and most recently Mondo Cozmo.
In 2013, by serendipitous chance, Mietz crosses paths with Pete Donnelly, the illustrious bassist of The Figgs and a revered songsmith in his own right. Brian rents a house from Pete under the condition that Pete would be able to keep his recording studio in the basement. During this time Pete opens his studio up to Brian and it becomes the birthplace of Brian’s albums Panzarotti and Wow! Brian is currently finishing up his 3rd solo record at The Gradwell House and gearing up to release some singles in the spring of 2024.
